The Sidewalk Cafe

The Sidewalk Café on Venice Beach, literally, may hold the title for the cheapest happy hour eats in Venice and guess what; we loved it!  The $5 Nachos were a pile 'o food and made us feel like we crossed the boarder. The Ground Beef Tacos at only $1.50 a taco won't hurt anyone wallet and may even stimulate your palate!  Even the college student on a budget can afford to fill his/her tummy at this place during Happy Hour. A full order of wings at only $5 are worth the order and enough to share…choose spicy or teriyaki, both were great. The Mozzarella Sticks and the Onion Rings were amazing and with the cheap price tag of $4 per order, get ‘em both.

With all that food for $5 and under you'll want to wash it down with a drink or two.  Luckily The Sidewalk Cafe isn't just about cheap eats but also cheap drinks. Great, strong drinks, plenty of bar food to satisfy your tummy and change in your pocket left over. And let us not forget that it is on the boardwalk in Venice so you can smell the ocean air while inside at the bar and shop afterwards (or beforehand). Beer for $2.50/pint and/or $8 pitcher, What? Yes, it is true. And seriously the cheapest well drinks made really well that the Happy Hour Crew has found on the West Coast…only $3 well cocktails. The Happy Hour Queens loved the Vodka & Cranberry they ordered and they were equally thrilled that Dr. Drinks was the designated driver as the drinks are strong.

Typical Beach bar, yummy cheap bar food and strong cheap drinks…need we say more. Come one, come all. Oh yeah, they also have a pool table and dart board to enjoy while washing down those awesome drinks and food. The Happy hour Crew will see you there.
