Rush Street
Why Rush Home?
Chicago meets L.A. with this bar/restaurant located in the heart of Culver City. The happy hour at Rush gives you lots of options for seating: at the bar, in the restaurant, upstairs at the lounge or on either patio.
The food selection was limited with only three categories to choose from: sliders, pizza or fries. A highlight is their Mesquite Turkey Sliders, three in all, and their good portion size makes them a delicious meal in itself. While the Margarita Pizza had a perfectly cooked, thin, flaky crust straight from Chicago, it needed a better balance between the cheese and the sauce. If you like it cheesy- this is your pizza.
As far as drinks, you can't go wrong with their Red Sangria or Mojito, and one thing that makes Rush stand out is their $5 Premium Top Shelf Liquor from the bar.
- Happy Hour Queens: Owning a business nearby, not only do we like this happy hour, it's one of our favorite lunch spots.
- Veggie Vixen: Being from Chicago I love getting the Chi-town vibe here in LA! Both pizzas on the happy hour menu are vegetarian and their sweet potato french fries are amazing.
- Dr. Drinks: More food item please...
