Copa d' Oro
Depression Era Happiness
Step your way back into time while drinking your way from the 1800's to the 1920's in perfect Bourbon style. From the original Manhattan to the Contemporary Tommy's Margarita, Copa d' Oro's Happy Hour cocktail menu is like no other. You'll feel like you took a trip in a time machine and at only $5 each, this is your chance to sample market fresh cocktails from way back when.
The Gold Rush scored a 10+ with the Happy Hour Crew and denotes the 2nd time that California should be famous for its Gold Rush. Thanks Copa d' Oro. The Pisco Sour, straight from the 1920's was interesting, festive, and will have you roaring. Toast your night with the Champagne Cocktail from the 1860's Connaught Hotel in London..."It's bloody good." You can find beer and wine on this Happy Hour menu but trust the Happy Hour Crew...go for the Cocktails as you won't find these on any other menu.
The food selection is minimal but different from other menus we have sampled. It's all Paninis. There are five delicious ones to choose from. The Classic Tuna Melt and the Peanut Butter and Jelly had the Happy Hour Crew singing all the way home. That's right PB & J...just like mom used to make, only better. Also on the list, try the Nutella Panini, you will feel like you're in heaven but without Kobe Bryant.
Copa d' Oro certainly serves up a unique Happy Hour food and cocktail menu and everyone in the group will find something that they love. The drinks are timeless.
- Dr. Drinks: Drinks, Drinks, Drinks...I've struck gold with the Gold Rush
- Veggie Vixen: What?!? Nutella! I'm in Heaven.
- Happy Hour Queens: Cheers...we'll be back on Monday to try the whole list.
